This course is intended to help adults learn the rules, regulations, and laws of the road right from home.

From speed limits to right-of-way laws. Knowing and following these laws is crucial for your safety on the road. This course will help adults prepare for their road exams. 

As a study guide, the course covers the essentials from the state of Michigan's road test study guide booklet and highlights the critical information needed to prepare students for their road exam. Items include a checklist of required documentation, the vehicle inspection, basic control skills, the on-road portion of the skills test, automatic failures, and what advanced safety vehicle features are allowed during the exam. The final section of the course includes a short quiz. Pass your skills test the first time by familiarizing yourself with the procedures and relieving anxiety by knowing what is expected of you on test day. 

This course is intended to help adults learn the rules, regulations, and laws of the room by attending a brief classroom session to review the basic driving laws. The course will include three hours of behind-the-wheel (BTW) instruction with a certified Michigan Driver Education Instructor. 

Classroom sessions for this course are held virtually via Zoom. Students must show up in person and attend their driving lessons. Students must obtain a permit (TIP) from the Secretary of State before beginning driving lessons. The student can attend the virtual classroom settings before obtaining a permit. The classroom session will help prepare the students for the test at the Secretary of State before being issued a temporary instruction permit.
