About Our Driving School

Our driving school was founded with the passion and drive to make a difference. We focus on creating confident, safe young drivers. 

Learning how to drive and getting your driver's license is a major milestone in every teenager's life. At Michigan Driving Schools, we take great pride in providing the right foundation of classroom comprehension and hands-on skills to help our students become safe and confident behind-the-wheel. Every teenager has the ability to become a responsible driver. Michigan Driving School's mission is to provide each student with the knowledge and foresight to become a safe driver.

Company History

When it was time for our oldest daughter to enroll in a driver education program none of the driving schools out there met our requirements. My husband and I decided that we could do better -- make the classroom session more fun, keep students engaged, and be very selective about the employees we would hire to work not for us, but with us as a team. Students receive a better understanding and education when a company works together as a whole.  

My husband and I are directly involved in our school on a day-to-day basis. I answer all of the phones, emails, and texts. I help guide parents, teach in the classroom, train my instructors on-site, make sure our programs are up-to-date with technology and information. We make sure our driver education vehicles have advanced features to be able to correctly educate the student. Every time we purchase a new driver education vehicle, my husband uses it first to learn how everything in the vehicle works so he can better educate his students during their behind-the-wheel lessons. It also helps him train and answer any questions that our instructors might have. Mr. Wormsbacher is one of the most respected and requested behind-the-wheel instructors in our surrounding communities. 

Michigan Driving Schools is not just any driver education company. We actively engage with our students. Many of the parents today had not been part of the graduated driver license program of Michigan when they received their license. Helping the parents to understand the process to better support their student through each of the stages is another important part of who we are. Since day one, our mission has been to bond with each student as a family. We treat the parents and students as we would one of our children.
