All classes are taught by experienced and certified driver education instructors with a passion for learning and safety behind-the-wheel.
Mr. Wormsbacher is married to Maribeth, and they have two children. He is a very energetic person. When he is not teaching students, he enjoys spending time with his family and caring for his animals when he is not teaching. He is a creative, caring, and motivated instructor.
Mrs. Wormsbacher is married to Clarence, and they have two children. She answers all of the phones, emails, and texts. She helps guide parents, teaches in the classroom, trains instructors on-site, and ensures our programs are up-to-date with technology and information.
Mr. Benbow is a driving instructor and bus driver for Drivergent Transportation. When he is not driving the bus or teaching students, he enjoys spending time with his daughter. He is helpful, honest, and committed to his students.
Miss. Compton was born and raised in Michigan. She is the lead instructor for Port Huron Northern Highschool in Fort Gratiot. When she is not teaching students, she enjoys crafting, record collecting, concerts, and adventures with her boyfriend. She makes her students feel inspired, empowered, and energized.
Mr. Hampton is married to a Detroit Public school teacher and has three children. Along with being a driving instructor, he is a retired bus driver. When he is not teaching, he enjoys spending time with his family. He brings compassion, commitment, and encouragement to his students.
Mr. Horne is married with two sons and a daughter-in-law. Along with being a driving instructor, he is a physical education teacher for Port Huron High School. When he is not in the classroom, he enjoys many different types of sporting activities. He brings energy, encouragement, and devotion to his students.
Mr. Hussian lived in New York City for 12 years before moving to Michigan in 2000. He enjoys spending time with his two adult children when he is not teaching. Before becoming a driving instructor, he was in office management and healthcare. He switched careers and became a driving instructor because he has always been interested in teaching. He makes his students feel respected, prepared, and empowered.
Mr. Pruitt retired from the United States Army after serving for 20 years. He is part of the ROTC program at Centerline Highschool. He is married with three children. He enjoys spending time with his family when he is not teaching students. His teaching style includes hard work, dedication, and leadership skills, which help his students learn in a positive and respectful atmosphere.
Mr. Thomas was born and raised in New York City. He has lived in Michigan since 1998. He is married with three children. Along with being a driving instructor, he has been working in the hospice field for the last 20 years. He brings energy and enthusiasm to his teaching style, which students have appreciated!
